Ever fancied writing a book? Sure you have… So, what’s stopping you? The list is endless… believe me, my subconscious is a busy-bee and can – given a few seconds notice – arrive at hundreds of valid reasons why I will never write another novel. Trust me.. the thing inside us that stops us doing certain things is way more powerful than the thing that helps us along. That’s what makes achieving something like writing a book, climbing a mountain, running a marathon or #insertyourowngoalhere so rewarding. But for me, it’s been a while since I’ve written proper words (6 months) and it got me worried for a while.. People who cared would say, “oh, you have writer’s block.’

I thought it was time for a brief update. It’s actually been a crazily busy year on the writing front, but that doesn’t always equal new books on the hallowed shelves of Amazon unfortunately. I started out writing the third book in my Sci-Fi Human Hibernation series. I got half way through but something wasn’t clicking. So, I took some advice and shelved it for a while.
